Scrolling LED Display Boards

Text-first LED boards that scroll a message across a slim panel. The most affordable LED signage there is, and still the right answer when the content is a rate, a notice or an offer line rather than a picture.

A scrolling board does one thing well: it puts a line of changeable text where people will read it. Gold rates, today's offer, a token number, a clinic's doctor timings. It costs a fraction of a full display because it does not pretend to show pictures.

Single colour or full colour

A single-colour board is dramatically cheaper and, for a rate ticker or a notice line, completely sufficient. Move to full colour only if you actually intend to show graphics — a full-colour board displaying red text is money spent on nothing.

The jewellery rate ticker

The single most common use we see is a gold and silver rate board on a jewellery frontage, updated daily. It is the cheapest LED product in the range and often the highest-return one, because the rate is the reason people look at the shop at all.

Common questions

How much does a scrolling LED board cost?

A small single-colour board starts around ₹8,000–₹15,000. A 6 × 1 ft shop offer strip typically lands between ₹15,000 and ₹35,000 depending on colour capability and whether it is outdoor rated.

Can it display Kannada?

Yes. Current controllers handle Kannada, Hindi and other Indic scripts as well as English. Confirm it at order, because some older single-colour controllers are English-only.

How do I change the message?

Most boards now pair with a phone over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, so you type the new message and send it. Older USB-only models need a stick carried to the board, which is worth avoiding if the text changes daily.
