LED Video Wall Price in India

What an indoor video wall costs by pitch and size, and the one specification that decides whether it looks right on camera.

Indoor LED video walls are priced by area, and the pitch decides where in the range you land. The current bands are below, excluding GST.

Pitch is the budget, so choose it on distance

Each step down in pitch raises cost sharply, because pixel count scales with the square of the pitch. A P1.5 costs roughly three to five times a P4 for the same area. The only question that should decide it is how close people actually stand.

Under three metres — a boardroom, a reception desk — P1.2 to P1.9 is visibly sharper and worth it. Past three metres it is indistinguishable from P2.5 and you are paying about double for nothing.

Pixel pitch against comfortable viewing distance: P1.5 suits 1 to 3 metres, P2.5 suits 2 to 4 metres, P4 suits 4 to 15 metres, P6 suits 6 to 25 metres and P10 suits 10 metres and beyond.0 m8 m16 m24 m32 mComfortable viewing distanceP1.5Boardrooms, studiosP2.5Retail interiors, receptionP4Shop frontage — outdoor sweet spotP6Roadside displays, facadesP10Highway billboards, rooftops
The rule made visible: the minimum practical viewing distance in metres is roughly the pitch in millimetres, and each bar runs from there through the comfortable range. Past that range, a finer pitch buys less and less — put the money into brightness instead.

What the quote must include

  • Panels, with pitch, brightness and LED chip brand stated
  • Receiving cards, sending controller and video processor
  • Mounting frame, and whether it is front- or rear-serviceable
  • Colour calibration across all modules at commissioning — new panels never match out of the box
  • Power and data runs to the controller position
  • Warranty duration, coverage and response time
  • GST, stated separately

Front service is a design decision

If the wall sits flush against a structural wall there is no rear access, so a failed module has to come out from the front. Front-serviceable cabinets cost more and must be specified at design time — discovering the problem two years later means dismantling the wall to change one module.

Common questions

How much does a 10 × 6 ft video wall cost?

Roughly ₹4–7 lakh installed in P2.5, excluding GST. In fine-pitch P1.5 the same wall runs ₹6–10 lakh. The difference is worth paying only if people stand within about three metres of it.

LED video wall or LCD screens?

LCD is cheaper per square foot but every panel has a bezel, so the wall shows a grid of black lines through the image. LED is seamless. For anything where one large image or a brand logo has to read cleanly, LED is the only one that looks intentional.
