What interactive flat panels actually sell for in the current market, what moves a quote up or down, and the three specification lines that matter more than the brand.
Interactive flat panel pricing has collapsed in five years — a 75-inch panel that cost ₹2.5 lakh in 2020 sells nearer ₹1.2–1.5 lakh today. That is good news for schools and a trap for buyers, because the market now spans everything from bare imported panels to serviced, warrantied classroom systems at twice the price, and they look identical in a photograph.

- Warranty: one year carry-in versus three years on-site is a real price difference and worth paying
- Installation and training — the line items that decide whether the panel gets used at all
GST, briefly
Interactive panels with built-in data processing have been classified under HSN 8471 at 18% GST in an advance ruling, and after the September 2025 rate rationalisation, classification as a monitor also lands at 18% — so the rate question that used to swing quotes by ten points has largely settled.
