This is where fine pitch is justified
A boardroom or reception wall is one of the few places people genuinely stand within two or three metres of a large screen. That is the situation P1.2–P1.9 exists for, and the only situation where its cost is defensible. Past three metres, a P2.5 is indistinguishable and costs half as much.
Camera-facing installations
If the wall will appear behind people on video calls or in recorded content, refresh rate matters more than pitch. Specify 3,840 Hz or higher; below that, cameras in the room are liable to pick up scan banding across your backdrop, and no amount of tuning afterwards lifts a panel past what its driver ICs allow.
Colour calibration is part of the job
New panels never match each other out of the box. A wall that has not been calibrated module by module shows a faint patchwork under flat colours — which is exactly what a corporate brand background is. Commissioning includes that calibration; it is not an optional extra.

What does a reception LED wall cost?
A 10 × 6 ft wall in P2.5 typically runs ₹4–7 lakh installed. The same wall in fine-pitch P1.5 runs ₹6–10 lakh. Excluding GST in both cases.
Do we need P1.5 or is P2.5 enough?
Measure the distance from the wall to where people actually stand. Under three metres, P1.5 is visibly sharper and worth it. Beyond three metres, nobody can tell the difference and you are paying roughly double for nothing.
Will it show banding on video calls?
Not usually, if the refresh rate is specified correctly. Insist on 3,840 Hz or higher for any wall that will appear on camera — this is the specification most commonly left out of a quote, and the panel’s driver ICs set the ceiling, so it is settled when you buy rather than afterwards.
