Thermal range is the constraint nobody plans for
Delhi swings from below 5 °C in January to above 46 °C in June. That 40-degree annual range is far outside what most LED signage in India is specified against, and it matters in two ways: power supplies derate badly in extreme heat, and repeated expansion and contraction works fixings loose over years.
For a Delhi outdoor screen we specify a higher-rated power supply than we would for the same screen in Bengaluru, and ventilation on the cabinet rather than a fully sealed box relying on ambient cooling. Winter smog also cuts effective visibility, which argues for higher brightness than the distance alone would suggest.
Dust
Delhi dust is fine, abrasive and constant. It settles on the panel face and reduces apparent brightness measurably within months. Screens here need a cleaning schedule written into the handover, and the mounting has to allow safe access for it — which is a design decision, not an afterthought.

Does Delhi heat affect an LED display?
It affects the power supply more than the panel. We specify a higher-rated supply and a ventilated cabinet for Delhi rather than the sealed box that suits a milder climate, because supplies derate in sustained 45 °C conditions.
How often will it need cleaning?
Delhi dust reduces apparent brightness measurably within a few months. Plan on quarterly cleaning, and make sure the mounting allows safe access — retrofitting access to a screen that was not designed for it is expensive.
