LED Signage for Retail Shops & Showrooms

Your frontage is your highest-traffic advertising space, and most shops waste it on a board that has said the same thing for three years.

  • Manufacturer warranty
  • GST invoice
  • Pan-India delivery
  • On-site service in Karnataka
  • Transparent, published pricing

What usually goes wrong with signage for retail shops and showrooms

  • The flex board says whatever it said when the shop opened, so regulars stopped reading it years ago
  • Sale and festival offers go up as a separate banner, which looks temporary because it is
  • After closing time the frontage is dark, so the shop disappears from the street every evening
  • Every offer change means a reprint, a vendor call and two days of waiting

What changes with LED

  • Offers change from a phone in seconds, so the frontage matches what is actually in stock
  • The shop stays visible and readable after dark, which is when most footfall passes
  • Festival and sale creative goes up the same morning it is decided
  • No recurring print cost, and no banner sagging off the facade by week three

What a retail frontage usually needs

For a standard shop frontage the answer is almost always a P6–P8 outdoor display at around 8 × 4 ft, mounted above the shutter line. That is far enough from the footpath that a finer pitch adds nothing, and large enough to carry a product image rather than only text.

Showrooms with a deeper setback — car, furniture, electronics — read from further away and can drop to P8 or P10 for the same money across a larger area, which usually looks better than a smaller sharp screen.

Keep the name and the offer separate

The most effective retail frontages we supply use two things: fabricated channel letters for the business name, which never changes and stays legible from across the road, and an LED display beneath for the message that does change. Putting the shop name on the screen means it disappears every time an offer plays.

Common questions

What size LED board should a normal shop get?

Around 8 × 4 ft for a standard frontage, mounted above the shutter. Smaller than about 6 × 3 ft and the content becomes hard to compose; larger only helps if the setback from the road is deep enough for people to take it in.

Do I need municipal permission for a shop board?

Two things decide it: whose name is on the board, and whether it is lit. Selling space to other brands makes it an advertising display and needs a separate municipal permission anywhere. An own-name board is usually far simpler — but not in Bengaluru, where on our reading the 2025 Rules write the self-advertisement exemption as excluding illuminated advertisements, so a glow sign or LED board there needs permission whatever it carries. We flag which category your plan falls into at the site assessment; the determination rests with your municipality.
