- Queue and token management is verbal and contested
- Schemes and deadlines change faster than printed material can be replaced

Kannada is a requirement, not a feature
For public-facing information in Karnataka, Kannada rendering has to be correct rather than approximate — conjunct characters and vowel signs render badly on older single-colour controllers. We test the actual text on the actual controller before supply, because a display showing broken Kannada is worse than no display.
Procurement and specification
Public procurement generally needs a written specification that can be tendered. We can supply a neutral technical specification covering pitch, brightness, ingress rating, refresh rate and warranty terms that any qualified supplier can bid against — that is a reasonable thing to ask for, and we would rather you buy well than buy from us badly.
Durability matters more here
Public installations are unattended, heavily used and rarely serviced quickly. Specify die-cast cabinets, an ingress rating confirmed for every side exposed to weather — front and rear where the cabinet stands in the open — and a maintenance access route that does not require closing a public area. The cheapest quote is a poor economy in this setting.
Indicative budget for government offices and public spaces
The band most projects in this category fall into. Your written quote follows a free site assessment.
| Category | Pitch | View from | Indicative ₹/sq ft | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Outdoor P6–P8 | P6–P8 | 6 m | ₹2,500 – ₹5,000 | The usual choice for a roadside shop board. Top of the range buys higher brightness and a die-cast cabinet; the bottom is typically an iron cabinet with a lower-tier LED chip. |
Common questions
Can the display show Kannada properly?
Yes, with the right controller. Kannada conjuncts and vowel signs render badly on some older single-colour controllers, so we test your actual text on the actual hardware before supply rather than assuming.
Can you provide a specification for tendering?
Yes. We can supply a vendor-neutral technical specification covering pitch, brightness, ingress protection, refresh rate and warranty that multiple suppliers can bid against. It is a fair request and we would rather the installation be specified properly.
