Token displays are the entry point
Most clinics start with a small scrolling or matrix display showing the current token and the consulting room. It is inexpensive, it removes a constant source of reception interruption, and it visibly reduces the tension in a waiting room.
Integration with your existing system
If you already run a hospital management or queue system, the display can usually be driven from it rather than typed into separately. Tell us which system you use during the assessment — retrofitting an integration afterwards is harder than specifying it up front.

Can it connect to our existing queue system?
Usually yes — most hospital management systems can drive an external display over the network or a serial connection. Tell us the system name early so we specify a compatible controller rather than a standalone one.
Is a screen appropriate in a clinical waiting area?
Handled properly, yes. Silent, slow-changing, with genuinely useful content rather than advertising. Handled badly it adds stress to a room that already has plenty, which is why we default to conservative settings.
