What LED signage costs on the coast, and why the mounting specification differs from inland Karnataka.
Prices in Mangalore match Bangalore, and transport is not charged separately on normal orders. What differs is the specification, and a quote priced on inland assumptions will fail here.

Why coastal quotes should cost more
Salt air corrodes. A mild-steel structure that lasts a decade in Bengaluru shows visible rust within two or three seasons in Mangalore, and unsealed cable entries fail faster still. Coastal installations need galvanised or stainless structural work, marine-grade fixings, and full sealing at every entry point.
That is a real premium on the fabrication line — modest against the total, and the alternative is re-fabricating a rusted structure within three years. A coastal quote that matches an inland one on the structure has left something out.
Monsoon intensity
Coastal Karnataka gets far heavier rainfall than the plateau, driven horizontally by wind. IP65 rear as well as front is a genuine requirement rather than a nice-to-have, and the mounting must shed water rather than let it pool behind the cabinet.
