LED Screens for Banquet Halls & Places of Worship

Large gatherings have the same problem: most of the room cannot see what is happening at the front.

What usually goes wrong with signage for banquet halls and places of worship

  • People at the back of a hall cannot see the stage, the ritual or the couple
  • Hired screens for every function are a recurring cost and a recurring setup risk
  • The hall competes with others on the same road with nothing to distinguish it
  • Projection washes out whenever the hall lighting is on

What changes with LED

  • A live relay means the whole hall sees the front, not only the first ten rows
  • A permanent screen removes the per-function rental and the setup risk
  • The hall becomes bookable at a higher rate because the screen is included
  • LED stays readable with the hall lights up, which projection does not

Why LED rather than projection

Projection needs the room dark. Weddings, functions and worship do not happen in the dark. An LED wall stays fully readable with the hall lights up, which is the entire reason halls switch, and it removes the throw-distance constraint that dictates where a projector can sit.

Pitch and audience distance

A hall screen is viewed from three metres at the front row and twenty at the back. Specify for the front row and P3–P4 is comfortable; anything finer is invisible past the fourth row and adds significant cost across a 16 × 9 ft area.

Buy or hire

If the hall runs more than roughly twenty functions a year, a permanent screen usually costs less over three years than hiring one each time — and removes the risk of a rental crew arriving late on the morning of a wedding. Below that, rental is the more sensible answer, and we do both.

Common questions

What does a hall LED screen cost?

A 16 × 9 ft P3 indoor wall typically runs ₹5–9 lakh installed, excluding GST. That compares against roughly ₹35,000–₹80,000 per event for a comparable rental, so the crossover is usually somewhere around fifteen to twenty functions a year.

Can it be used for the live relay of a wedding?

Yes — that is the most common use. The screen takes an HDMI or SDI feed from your camera or switcher directly. We commission it with your own event crew present so the connection is proven before the first function.

Will it work with the hall lights on?

Yes, and that is the main advantage over projection. LED emits its own light rather than reflecting it, so ambient lighting reduces contrast slightly but never washes the image out.
